It just so happens that one of my all-time favourite people to watch surfing is this man right here. Laurie Towner. In this clip, Laurie talks about his relationship with the ocean and his family which kind of makes sense to me.
Laurie says he can't go inland as it makes him feel weird which is a feeling I and you probably know only too well. His wife requires perfect waves and his kids are wild about the ocean. I kind of feel like he and I are almost the same. Now if only I could surf like him... cha.
You may also notice as I did that Mr Towner is favouring the 'Ninja Black' look of one of our favourites here at Surf Bunker. The needessentials brand which is not a brand. Love the black, my wife tells me it's slimming and as I get older, I need all the help I can get.
