We all surf for different reasons, it's down to personal choice.
I like my choices to be challenged and that's exactly what just occurred here at Surf Bunker HQ.
Jim (head dictator of the magazine) sent me the clip of Tyler Hatzikian surfing his longboard. The man can surf (I refer to Tyler, not Jim) and he can surf exceptionally well and shapes beautiful surfboards, there's no doubting that.
What did raise a heated discussion was my comment on the surfing style itself. Jim and I are still friends, but our opinions fell on either side of the coin. We thought we'd throw it out there to see what you think.
Don't be afraid to weigh in...as long as you don't agree with Jim.
