...lost and E-tech team up

Not only is Matt 'Mayhem' Biolos at the head of the game at moment as far as team riders on the WSL mens' and ladies' tours, but he is also making and selling a lot of boards worldwide to us mortals too, and its all thanks to his different approach to board design.

This new collaboration sees ...lost and e-tech surfboards team up to make boards with bio resin. It has been done before you might say? Yes, but not on this scale, and not with such a look to continue into the future and make performance boards that are just as good as standard polyester boards.

Who are e-tech? Well, they are Californian based company that uses entropy sap-based resins, they use bamboo deck pads instead of carbon fibre and have found a non toxic way of colouring the resin. The end result is an eco friendly board that is built to last and with a special attention to performance hence the collaboration with ...lost. Apparently there are no fumes in the glassing bay...none.

Anyway, its pretty inspiring stuff, and as long as the price tag is the same I think I could be seeing one in my quiver for sure.
