There is little doubt that the female of the species has the monopoly on elegance and gracefulness, to that there is no question. You could also argue that ladies possess an infinitely more fluid approach to surfing, no I am not talking about the top 17 on the WSL but more your 'everyday' surfer. Perhaps then we can transition that idea into board shaping and design, attention to detail and imagination. But the surf industry seems to be slow to pick up on these basic facts, after all how many female board builders do you know?
