As surfers we get to see and feel things that others do not. We are in a certain geographic place at certain times of the day which allow us a vista that is unparalleled in beauty. Every one of us holds those special memories close, the sunset and sunrise sessions etch themselves into our souls, never forgotten fully. Sometimes it takes another person's perspective to rekindle these memories and bring pastel, faded remembrances into the vivid and present.
This very short film called Blue Rise by Tristan Helias & Marin Troude is about the feelings we will never forget. The morning glass, colours, the slide, the solitude and overall the feeling that we are special, that we experience things other do not. The world goes on, but some things stay just as they were.
