  • Wednesday 6th January. There was a light and variable breeze from dawn. Glassy waves were a little disjointed and waist to chest high as the tide dropped.
  • Tuesday afternoon. There was enough swell to provide mellow waves at sheltered spots this afternoon. The wind stayed light and waves were glassy and waist high (or overhead if you surfed Porth Neigwl).
  • Tuesday 5th January. There was a light southerly again this morning. Waves were confused but clean faced. Sets were just overhead.
  • Wednesday afternoon. It seems the North Wales surfing community is still off work. A few spots were very busy this morning but the wind didn't cooperate and continued to have a bit too much west in it to really clean up the swell.
