Well folks the winter is upon us and we at Surfedout are getting busy sorting winter stock and new stock for next year season 2016.
The changes this year include the introduction of the new shaper for our Bear Surfboards with Ben Skinner. He has been busy shaping the new Bear surfboards and taken the reigns over from Keith Beddoe and our custom orders are piling up slowly but surely.
Our SUP hire fleet and Sup sale fleet took on the JP Australia brand and again proved very popular, and you will see a few more around the beach as a result… For any advice on the SUP boards either for hire or sale please enquire in the shop or via the web address [email protected]. We have some SUP out on trial if you need a little coercion in buying one!!
At the same time we are expecting to start the work on our extension at Saunton, where the shop will be enlarged and closed to the elements, making it a better retail showroom as well as hire centre for surfboards, SUPs and wetsuits.
New to us will be the recent introduction of Kite surfing lessons and kite surfing gear for sale.
We all know Glenn has been kiting for a long time as well as surfing and decided it was time to teach it and retail it, in view that Saunton beach is such a prime spot to kite when the surf is unmanageable due to the onshore storms. Kiting combines both sports, and can be learned at Saunton beach via our shop and our North Devon Kite surf instructor and sponsored Cabrinha rider Paige Moore.
Paige is as patient as you need and I have seen her in action getting new riders on the water in days looking proficient enough to be let loose.
WE currently are stocking new 2016 Cabrinha kites, surfboards, harnesses bar and lines and spares like impact vests, helmets, pads, binding’s fins and spray jackets by Neil Pryde.
