I started surfing in 1966 at Barbers Point, Oahu... later relocating to the east coast as the "shortboard revolution" was in full swing. As a kid, I remember stripping old boards and re-shaping them in Virginia Beach during the early '70's....I was hooked, and have been building my own boards ever since.
I hand shape about 250 boards a year. I also do all the colorwork, laminating, sanding, and finish work myself in-house at my factory....low quantity—high quality, with a craftsman's attention to detail.
