Our homely hostel, Bagus is situated in the heart of the cool, laid back surf town of Taghazout offering a simple yet warm, unspoilt taste of Moroccan accommodation complete with WI FI, host party nights, barbeque area and chill-out roof top terrace for socialising and sunset gazing, (some of the best Moroccan sunsets are to be seen from our roof top!). Bagus Hostel is perfectly placed a few steps away from the friendly main street of Taghazout which is littered with shops, cool eateries and bars. Bagus Hostel is close to the beach whose shores cater for both pro’s and beginner surfers and close to a huge range of other unforgettable experiences.
Your host, Mourad is a young and friendly local Moroccan surfer and along with welcome friends of the hostel they have under their belts years of killer expertise on the local surf and surrounding areas meaning you’re in very safe hands. Offering frank and genuine help and advice on everything concerning your getaway, our full host service is paramount to our ethos; we want to provide happy, laid back surroundings as a base for your trip. We want your to stay to be memorable and for you to come back being as smitten with Taghazout as we are! We offer seriously ‘Bagus’ surf lessons, trips and advice on visiting Moroccan markets, medina cities and traditional villages, a trip to the beautiful paradise valley, a tour guide for countryside trekking and many more adventures and experiences all in close vicinity to Bagus Hostel. We can advise on the best places to eat, hang out, shop and surf, pointing you in the direction of famous surf breaks such as Hash point, Anchor point, Panoramas (which can all be seen from the comfort of the terrace), La Source and Killer point.
