One of the most on-point and tongue-in-cheek short films we have seen in a long time. Taking the 'Micheal' out of the so-called 'week-end warriors' and sudden rise in Longboard 'retro' surfers in Montauk's (New York) city beaches.

The footage is accompanied by some amusing (as long as you are not a New York Stockbroker) words as the two surfers narrating are locals/regulars/veterans Danny DiMauro and Tin Ojeda and see things with their own set of eyes.

Is this a true reflection of what is going on in the rest of the world? And why not? Surfing is for everyone, surely? Why deny someone the bliss you know to be incomparable? Everyone has to learn sometime.

However, there is nothing to stop us taking the 'Michael'. It's character building as my old mum used to say.

A little bit of a back rub here.
